Song of the week: Fernando & Philippo

1966 is in my opinion one of the best Eurovision years ever. The average quality of the songs was very good, with all the singers giving very professional performances of their songs. Some of this years songs are real ESC classics like Mérci chéri, Intet er nytt under solen, Ele e ela... and of course the most original songs of the night Fernando & Phillippo by the great Milly Scott (which was also the first non-white contestant in the ESC history).

This song and Milly's performance really stood out from all the other very formal and virginal contestants and its one of my most unforgetable Eurovision moments!
