Turkey: Superstar

Tukey is my biggest dissapointment of this year. They were one of the first competing nations to announce their singer: Sibel Tuzun, one the leading Turkish stars.

When I visited her website I was really excited and happy because Sibel seemed to be a great singer with very interessanting songs. It was therefore with great anxiaty that I waited the day when the Turkish song was announced.

Superstar was written and composed by Sibel herself and its a very, very, very, very, very borring and irritating song.

It reminds a bit Sertab, it has some good Turkish sounds but the lyrics are just awfull.

Sibel is a very good singer, the video is great and the stage act will be unforgetable but I hope they dont qualify, unless they have a very good remix for the semi-final.
